Enviro-Tote?, Inc. has been creating environmentally friendly promotional tote bags since 1990. Our bags are made from unbleached and colored cotton, certified organic cotton, and The Bottle Bag?, a material made from 100% recycled soda bottles. All our products are made in the U.S.A. We fill orders starting at only 50 bags! And our customers have used Enviro-Tote? bags for company promotions and special events throughout the U.S. and around the world.

Family owned and operated

Each of our bags is individually cut, hand-stitched and screen-printed at our plant in tax-free Bedford, New Hampshire. Enviro-Tote?, Inc. is a family-owned, woman-owned and operated company.

One bag at a time

Because we cut fabric only after an order arrives, we can provide custom sizes and styles as easily as our standard sizes and styles. We offer a wide selection of unbleached and colored materials for both bags and handles. After carefully cutting and hand-stitching each bag, we customize your bags with your company logo or promotional message. From start to finish, we take great care in producing each bag we make.

Enviro-Tote staff
Company with a conscience

The environment is important to us, so we believe in generating as little waste as possible in all that we do. Our efficient cutting and stitching methods, along with precise printing, eliminate fabric waste. All of our standard sizes are designed to have no fabric waste. We recycle all our office paper and cardboard, cans and bottles, and re-use one-sided office paper, which is bound into note pads. And, of course, we re-use our Enviro-Tote bags when we shop!

A history of recycling

Enviro-Tote began operations in Manchester's historic Millyard and purchased stitching equipment from garment giant Pandora, which was going out of business after providing decades of work to local stitchers. In addition to recycling Pandora's stitching machines, we also hired Pandora stitchers, most are still with our company today.

Value of working together

We value our employees and their work, as evidenced by our affiliation with the Fair Labor Association as a Category C licensee. Since 1990, we have grown from 12 to 40 employees, many who have been with us since the beginning. As a family-owned business, we understand the importance of working well together. This harmony and attention to detail is seen in every bag we make.

Hal Baxter founded Fast Company in 1993 and shortly began marketing his new invention, Draggin' Jeans. The now famous image of Hal dragging behind a pick-up truck comes from his early R&D work with Draggin' Jeans. Unsatisfied with the sandbags he initially employed to test his new invention, Hal put his ass on the line, literally. Only a genuine body provides realistic weight distribution for testing seam strength and wear to pressure points. After several revisions, Draggin' Jeans were born. Hal's eureka! moment came one Sunday afternoon in the midst of a sweltering ride. Hal and a friend stopped for some ice cream to cool down. While waiting in line in some very colorful racing leathers, a small boy gazed transfixed at the pair of motorcyclists. After a few moments of silent contemplation the boy turned and yelled Hey, Mama! Look at the clowns!

Hal decided there must be a better way. He developed Draggin' Jeans as an alternative to hot, bulky, unfashionable leathers. Draggin' Jeans are perfect for those times when leather is too much of a hassle. Draggin' Jeans are lined with Kevlar?. Kevlar? is one of the toughest, strongest materials in existence and is used for a variety of applications that require high strength-to-weight ratios (bullet-proof vests, aerospace construction, driver's helmets, etc.). Five times stronger than steel yet soft and pliable, Kevlar? fabric lines the knees and seat of our jeans, providing superior protection where the motorcycle rider most needs it.
