What's the difference between the canes of today and those from 2000 years ago? Not much.
So we asked ourselves, In today's age of technology and science, can't we come up with a better cane?
And that's exactly what we set out to do. We studied the physics of physiology and the science of stability. We looked at prosthetic limbs, robotics and emerging materials. We talked to family, friends and experts about the challenges of limited mobility.
Then inspiration struck.
Why not design our cane after the most advanced machine on earth? The human body. It provides perfect balance and stability. It reacts to changing conditions. And each part of the body is designed to move in perfect unison with every other part.
So we stopped trying to build a cane. And started to build an extension of the body.
Hundreds of designs later, we had the HurryCane?. It pivots without you having to think about it. It tackles sand, gravel and snow better than traditional canes. And it stands upright, when you need to use your hands for something other than, well, holding a cane.
And now, we've made a great design even better. Our all-new, redesigned Freedom Edition? is 20% lighter, 40% stronger and 100% American-made. It folds up more compactly, and adjusts to be even taller and shorter than ever before. With a wider base for better stability and Comfort-Fit handle, the new HurryCane? has been redesigned from top to bottom.
