The World's Coolest Rain Gauge? was introduced in 2001 and sold by TM Hoff Handmade. When it was introduced at the Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Show in January of that year, it won Country Living Gardening Magazine's Best New Product award.
Added to an already crowded product line of bird feeders, patio lanterns and other garden accessories, the rain gauge stood out immediately for its creative approach to a somewhat mundane activity: measuring rain.
As it turned out, measuring rain was something a lot of people like to do. Sales skyrocketed, space and resources grew limited, nerves got frazzled.
In 2008, a new company was formed to concentrate on the manufacture and sale of the rain gauge and the rain gauge only. Oh Crow LLC is proud to make the World's Coolest Rain Gauge? in the USA and continues to improve and add to the product line.
Based in New Paltz, NY, Oh Crow LLC is owned by Moira Clune. Her former business partner, Tom Hoff, continues to create practical and amazingly useful products for the home and garden from his studio in Maplecrest, NY.
