Haand began in 2012 when childhood friends Chris Pence and Mark Warren decided to start a company together with the goal of designing and producing high quality modern designs using traditional craft methods.
Haand's Vision
Haand's work is farmhouse futuristic. We strive to create comfortable products for everyday use ? products that reflect our respect for historic manufacturing processes and craftsmanship as well as our interest in contemporary design and production methods. We started Haand because we believe an object made with care and intention will positively impact the object's user every time it is touched.
Product Care
Our products are all lead free, food safe porcelain fired to 2300 F. It is dishwasher and microwave safe. We design and make all our products by hand in our workshop in Eli Whitney, NC and slight variations in color and texture are natural results of this process and should be celebrated as indicators of the piece's transition from raw material to final product.
